My creative outlets change depending on my situation.

I haven’t mixed music in months. Work on my jewelry/art brand, which hasn’t even launched, has stopped dead. I hardly write.

This isn’t bad. It’s because I’m busy. Work has consumed most of my weekday energy, and that’s fine. I’m in a physical place to cope with that. But it leaves very little energy for anything else.

Instagram, though. Those small pieces of daily life, presented as art, it’s a low-effort, high-satisfaction creative outlet. My Instagram usage seems to increase when I’m busy with work (because I don’t have the time or energy to do much else). And that’s fine.
