Since quitting my job a few weeks ago, my symptoms have reduced dramatically.

I’m not waking up in pain, and even though I’m incredibly unfit from the last year of illness, I’m not fatigued like I was before.

Initially, I thought it was the physical aspect of the job that made the difference, before remembering that since quitting, I’ve done about the same amount of daily exercise as I did when working.

I now believe it was a combination of stress and of exhaustion from interacting with so many people on a daily basis, and once those two things are removed, I enjoy the company of other people – and my body isn’t in constant fight or flight mode.
