Hippie Hill’s Statler & Waldorf

There are two old guys sitting near the drum circle, facing Hippie Hill. In essence, they’re facing all the people that are sitting on the hill, including us. They’re center stage, and no one bought tickets.

One keeps blowing air loudly through a leaf in his hand. Both are heckling the drum circle, and it’s fucking glorious. They also have a small, yappy terrier on a leash who breaks out into incessant barking every five minutes or so.

Sledging highlights include:

“Blow it out your ass!”
“Come on guys, let’s party!”
“Let’s get some weed and do this right!”
“[incocherent] Davey Crockett motherfucker [incoherent]”
“Welcome to San Francisco!”
“YEEEEAAAAARGH”
“Rock ‘n Roll!”
“I’m working HARD!”

Oh shit. One of them just starting randomly bashing a xylophone.

Wait, they also have maracas, and I’ve just realized the noisier one is wearing a silver fedora.

The point is, I’ve never seen two people who give less fucks, and I hope to one day be as non-fuck-giving as they are.

The guy sitting down took off the silver fedora, but here they are. I love them.
